Much of the time, it makes sense for the search engines to deliver results from older sources that have stood the test of time. However, sometimes the response should be from newer sources of information. The more webpages use the same keyword to point to a subpage, the more signals the search engine will receive indicating that this landing page must be very relevant for this keyword. This in turn means that the page will be ranked better for this and other similar keywords. One of the recommendations I frequently give as an SEO consultant is to optimize your images. A lot of websites have images that are relatively large, which take a lot of time to load. Resizing your images can speed up the loading time. Google does not work only the way it used to work, and as a result, this impacts a lotof websites built a certain way to rank high in Google.
Put a high traffic network into your SEO practise
If you read something interesting on a blog, you should comment. Especially when a post is about something you may have written about yourself as well. In your comment, you can share your view on the matter. You could also place a link to one of your own blogs. Check archive.org (Wayback Machine)
or Screenshots.com to make sure the website has a clean history, particularly its most recent history. This has happened to me a couple times, so I look out for it now. If at any point it looks like the domain was home to a PBN site (private blog network), avoid it at all costs. It may have a pure spam penalty! That’s why Google uses “dwell time” to size up your content’s quality. Contrary to popular belief, linking out to relevant external websites does not directly impact your search rankings.

Internal links can help you prove your authority in a particular field by creating a logical sequence from one post to the other. This may lead to a series of posts that offer additional value, making it easier for search engines to understand your key topics. Use the rel=nofollow tag
in the links to websites that you do not trust, you think maybe using spamming techniques or you do not want to help in the search engines. The search engine crawler analyzes the raw HTML form of a web page. If you want to see what this looks like, you can do so by using your browser to view the page source Go through all your pages and look at your titles. Are you making the most of your keywords? And are they as interesting as possible (and suitable)? Each page needs a unique title tag, and tags should be 65 characters or less in length.
Post Interesting Stuff Not Limited to Your Products/Services Only
The structure of your URLs can also help search engines to better understand your website content. If
you can alter the URL so that, for example, it includes the name of your website, you should make use
of this. If you are currently producing five articles a week that get less than 100 visits each, try creating a single keyword-targeted article each week, with more research and more value to your audience, and then actively promote this article to key influencers in your industry. The most important user signals are the bounce rate and the click-through rate (CTR). These are important for your SEO, as Google takes these seriously. Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull
