Search engine do not give you links that are counted to your link popularity. You need to write content that others want to link to. And in my opinion, if you are not passionate about what you are writing, then it will be hard to get links pointing to your content. The focus on the right audience and the right content brings an understanding of the content that they’re more likely to consume. It makes sense to use the same keywords in titles and headlines, simply because a single page should always define it's topic as exactly as possible. This means there will always be only two or three main keywords any given page will need to be optimized for. Positive reviews are an important local SEO ranking factor that improves your business visibility on Google.

Leverage the work your competitors have already done in optimisation

When a search engine crawls your site, it moves slowly from one page to another by following the links on the page. As it does, it collects data about the content of your page. All your citations (an online reference to your business including your NAP) need to be consistent, so as you start building them (see below), make sure that firstly, your NAP is correct, and the same (so Google & Bing can see the connection). The website with the most links, as well as the most valuable links, wins a higher “rank” in popularity. You’ve heard that blogging is good for SEO and maybe you even publish new posts regularly and share your posts on Twitter and Facebook. Problem is, you’re still not seeing any serious organic traffic from your blog and you’ve never managed to see a blog post rank anywhere near the heralded first page of Google search results, no matter how much you try to cram in those keywords. Where are you going wrong?

Should I start with a blog?

Build a great series of appropriate backlinks on your site. Have your keyword phrases be in the titles of said links. Make sure that these network links are related to your content, otherwise they could possibly work against you. Using backlinks is a great way to bring in traffic from various areas. Include the right rich snippets, don’t add schema.org markup just to inform Google about all the other stuff you do. You can find valuable data using Google Search Console (formerly called Webmaster Tools). This free service from Google gives website owners a wealth of information about their own sites (especially with Google Analytics set up, too). Visual content has become very popular on the internet due to our own ability to process an image faster than any written text. Identify What’s Working and What Isn’t

Blogging is a great way to stay up to date while easily generating new, relevant content. Blogging regularly (ideally once a week at a minimum) can have significant implications for search engine optimization, since each new blog entry represents a new web page. Stop buying links in an attempt to fool Google and get more low-quality traffic. Write quality content instead, trust humans to find it and have them link to your pages because you are worth it. Google crawls most popular pages several times per day, but they don’t want you manipulating them, so they update their index pretty slowly. According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant : "Targeting highly sought-after keywords can make it harder for you to rank higher in search, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t become an authority on a topic by using different phrases for the same concept."

How do I rank in position zero?

Optimizing performance, however, is a continuous process. Your site will never be fast enough because there’s always more to improve. “SEO” refers to search engine optimization, or the process of optimizing a website so that people can easily find it via search engines like Google. Linking out is huge. Don't be a link hoard; you're going to create content, so use it to gain favor with other people. I'll go more into depth below with specific tactics on linking out, but in general, you only have something to gain when you’re linking out. Focus on keywords that have higher search volume but don’t neglect long tail keywords. If optimized right, you can get more traffic from keywords with less search volume.
